Butterfly Festival Brings Family Fun

The educational aspects of Butterfly Festival can be found in the displays and in the interactive entertainment can be found throughout the day. The fun can be found in the same venues along with the arts and crafts booths, face painting, pony and train rides, the butterfly house, and more.

Jefferson Davis Monument

This 351 foot concrete obelisk was constructed to honor Jefferson Davis; the President of the Confederacy during the Civil War. The monument is located at the site of Davis’s birth. An elevator ascends to an observation room for a panoramic view. There is a visitor center, a gift shop, a playground and a picnic area on the grounds.

On Hwy 115 to Fairview, KY
